Dr. Marlena Wieczorek - President
Musicologist and culture manager, the initiator of the Foundation and of the MEAKULTURA magazine. She is an author of majority of projects carried out by the organization. She has an extensive experience, typically in academic fields but also in managing of challenging projects. MKiDN [Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland] Scholar. She lives both in Poland and Brussels.
Dr. Ewa Schreiber - Vice-president
Musicologist, Master of Philosophy and music critic. Interested in the use of concepts of metaphor and irony in relation to the music as well as in the reflection of the second half of 20th-century composers. As a critic, she is specialized in the younger generation artists’ works. Author of ”Muzyka i metafora.” She was awarded the NCK Prize [National Cultural Centre Prize] and the Feicht Prize [Nagroda im. Ks. Prof. H. Feichta] for her compositionary concepts of P. Schaeffer, R.M. Schafer and G. Grisey. She is a lecturer at the Department of Musicology of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
Dr. Rafał Zapała - the Foundation Council
Doctor of compositions, master of choral conducting, improviser (pianist, drummer, live electronics), sound artist, assistant professor at the Department of Composition. He also works in Electroaccoustic Music Studio at the Music Academy in Poznań. His music is presented at contemporary music festivals, in jazz clubs, and on experimental music stages as well as in open-air performances in urban areas.
Aneta Derkowska - the Foundation Council
Postgraduate at the Department of Musicology of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, cultural expert. Her interests focus on the history of 20th-century music, particularly on the theory and the history of opera. She published numerous concert and music festival reviews as well as a monograph on the work of Bernadette Matuszczak.

Dr. Karolina Kizińska
Adam Mickiewicz University [UAM] postgraduate at the Faculty of Social Sciences (cultural studies). As a UMCS [Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin] scholar, she studied music education in the United States (Edinboro University of Pennsylvania) and in the Czech Republic (University of Hradec Králové). Fulbright scholar at the Department of Music at University of California, Berkeley. The owner of Kompozytornia.pl Company.
Student of Cultural Studies at the University of Gdańsk. He enjoys going out for a night on the town and meeting for coffee. Music exploration, public art as well as classical photographic techniques are his greatest interests. A frequent guest of expeditions, concerts, lectures and festivals. He doesn’t really know what he wants to do in his life so he’s constantly looking for an inspiration. He hates cats.
Dr. Karolina Golinowska
A lecturer at the Department of Musical Education of Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz. Interested in contemporary culture: both in its visual and musical aspects. Poznań University graduate in cultural studies.
Student of both Music and Polish Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She graduated at the second degree of Music College in Bydgoszcz. Organizer of literary competitions and meetings in students scientific association “Aurora.” Interested in contemporary culture as well as in relations between literature and music.
Active theorist and passive practitioner, a non-humanist in the poetic world. Student of Music Theory at the Music College in Wrocław, violinist and violist. Fascinated with contemporary music, folk cultures (particularly with Asian ones) as well as with symmetry in art and mathematics. She always wanted to explore the world and meet new people. To connect scientific work with pleasure, she participates in conferences in Poland, Greece, Great Britain and Lithuania.
Ukończyła szkołę muzyczną pierwszego stopnia. Absolwentka Architektury i Wzornictwa Przemysłowego na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Poznaniu. Ostatnie 6 lat spędziła w Danii, gdzie parała się wieloma różnymi profesjami: designem (projekty rowerów, mebli), architekturą wnętrz, ilustracją, projektowaniem graficznym a także innymi formami sztuki i kultury ze szczególnym uwrażliwieniem na muzykę jazzową.

Dr. Max Skorwider
Well appreciated artist of younger generation, known lecturer at University of Fine Arts in Poznań [formerly ASP] and the graduate of the same college at the Faculty of Graphic Arts. He deals with printmaking, posters, press illustrations and with other forms of contemporary art. A participant of exhibitions and competitions. He won numerous awards in his homecountry and abroad. He has a blog where he presents his illustrations Max Skorwider Comments (maxskorwider.blogspot.com).
Cultural expert. Used to be a tour guide for many years. She is currently working on something she has dreamt for all her life, that is writing. An author of texts, reviews, articles related to tourism and of literary studies on legends. She writes prose poetry, short stories, children’s fiction. Her debut novel, “Jako w niebie” [In Heaven] has been published recently. The book was released by Novae Res in Gdynia.
Student of Music Theory at Akademia Muzyczna im. I. J. Paderewskiego [Paderewski Academy of Music] in Poznań, and licensed mathematician (Adam Mickiewicz University). She doesn’t like specifying her musical interests, since she’s fascinated with both recently released music and interesting facts from music history (when it comes to Pop music, she has rather stuck in the Beatles era, though).
